This month's tournament is Two-Man Scramble (see the format/rules below). The first tee time is 07:31 (see the pairings below). Please check-in at least forty-five minutes prior to your tee time.

Below are the projected rules. Changes can be expected. The rules at game time, on Saturday, take precedence over these posted on the web site.

Rules

TEAMS: This format is two-man team with handicap differential of no more than five strokes.

HANDICAP: Handicaps are based on player's Index as of 15 April. Each player will play to 100% of his handicap. Handicaps for each team member shall be within 5 strokes.Teams exceeding the 5 stoke differential will have the higher HCP reduced to within 5 strokes of his partner and then the Tm HCP will be calulated. The Team HCP will be the average of the combined partners' handicaps.

FORMAT: Each team member hits his tee shot. For the second shot, by mutual agreement, the ball in the best location is selected. Each member plays his next shot from within one club length of the selected ball, but no nearer the hole. This procedure shall continue until a ball is on the putting green.

• If ball is in the rough and within one club length, ball may be moved onto fairway.
• You may NOT use the one club length to move from the fringe to the green, from out of bounds to inbounds nor to get relief from a hazard.
• If you elect to play a ball from a bunker, the ball shall be played as it lies by the player who hit into the bunker. Then, the other player rakes the bunker and places his ball in the same area for his shot.

Teeing positions: Players may play from the white or gold tees. Gold tee players shall be 70 years or older and have an Index of 20 or more. If you play from the gold tees you will be assigned your gold tee HCP minus a three (3) stroke adjustment.

On the putting green: Place a marker next to the selected ball. All putts are made from within six inches of this spot, no closer to the pin. Mark and remove all balls that have been putted. Continue this procedure until a putt is holed out. Move to the next tee.

SCORING:

• Each two-man TEAM shall swap score cards with the other twosome in their assigned foursome.
• Score the hole when your ball is holed out.
  
• When ball is holed, play ends on that hole.
• Record GROSS Team Score.
• Winners are determined by Team Total GROSS Score less one half of combined handicap.
• Eighteen hole low NET Team Score wins.
• Ties will be broken by card off using the #1 HCP hole (#6), NET score. If a tie still exits we will the use the #2 HCP hole (#14), NET score. If the tie still exits we go to the # 3 HCP hole (#3), NET score. This progression will continue until the tie is broken.
  
• You are responsible for the correctness of your score.
  
• Scorer and team member sign card.

SPECIAL:

• Practice Putt(s) / Shot(s) are prohibited during the round.
• "Closest to the Pin" will be awarded on four of the five par three holes. The payout shall be determined by the "buy-in."
• USGA rules supplemented by local rules apply.
• When ball is holed, play ends on that hole.
• NO PRACTICE PUTTING.
• Handicaps for each team member shall be within five strokes.
• Teams exceeding the five stoke differential will have the higher HCP reduced to within five strokes and then the Team HCP will be calulated.
• Winners are determined by Team Total Gross Score less Team HCP.
• Do NOT post your score.
